Therese Stenzel has just sold her very first book!  A Bride By Christmas is an anthology (a collections of novellas.) Her novella is titled, An English Bride Goes West. This book will be published by Babour Publishing in September of 2008. 

 

ImageTherese is graduate of Oral Roberts University. As a stay-at-home mom of three and a writer  when she can fit it in between her children's cheerleading, basketball games, and guitar lessons, she has also co-authored the book, God's Little Devotional Book for Grandparents. She has been published in Women's Day, Family Fun, and Tulsa Kids magazines. And many of those articles are still floating around on the Internet.

 

ImageIn addition to being the American Christian Fiction Writers Southwest Zone Director, she is also the "Head Wench" of His Writers a group of European historical authors and she is the author of British Missives, a newsletter for those who love to read or write British novels, and writer of British Ledgers--a blog for those obsessed with everything British. She is on the board for WIN, Writers of Inspirational Novels, a new ACFW writers group in Tulsa.

 

 

ImageObsessed with English history , English tea, the royal family, and reading historical novels since childhood, she is currently working on her fifth historical manuscript and tinkers with a contemporary story with British characters. She and her husband Neal keep busy raising their three children, and two dogs, and serving in their church, Believer's Church.

 

Little known details about Therese Stenzel:

She can speak German.

She once lived in England for eight months and Germany for three months.

She loves bagpipe music.

She once was in love with Donny Osmond.

Drinks two to three to four cups of tea a day and will only drink English tea. (A real tea snob!)

Collects British period movies, tea cups, and Princess Diana memorabilia.

She has spent time in England, Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Austria, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Scotland, Mexico, Canada, Holland, and most recently visited Shanghai, China with her family.
